Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a student or recent graduate for a temporary paid internship position as an Intellectual Property (IP) Assistant, to support scientists and researchers with patent administrative and research activities.
Hours:
25-35 flexible hours per week
Main Responsibilities:

bullet Working with researchers to develop database queries and run reports
bullet Generating reports, emails and other confidential correspondence
bullet Setting up and maintaining patent files
bullet Coordinating meetings, conferences and training schedule

bullet 1 year general office experience
bullet 1 year patent experience preferred, but not required
bullet Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
bullet Great attitude and willingness to learn new skills and technologies
bullet Candidate should be dependable, detail oriented and possess excellent communication skills
