|
| Dr. Ivor Knight established the Research & Development division of Canon U.S. Life Sciences. He brings two decades experience in molecular genetic research and the development of DNA-based methods of detecting infectious agents. |
|
| Prior to joining Canon, Dr. Knight was a professor at James Madison University, where he taught molecular biology and conducted a successful research program in infections disease detection. Dr. Knight is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies, where he works on homeland security projects. |
|
| He received a B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Science from West Virginia University, and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland at College Park. |
